Quarantine ,Approved and Rejected Raw Material in Pharma Industry:


Approved material expired during storage Every 1st week of the month, Store person shall generate the list of raw materials which are going to expire in next 60 days from SAP system.


 Store person shall intimate to Quality assurance Department by giving one copy of the list of raw materials which are going to be expired.


  •  materials must be identified with appropriate labels and kept in quarantine until safely disposed of. 

  • Care must be taken to prevent the use of such materials in manufacturing operations. Containers and Closures.

  •  Warehouse or Stores are the department in pharmaceuticals where Raw material (Active & Excipients) and Packing materials which are used in the manufacturing of batches shall be received and stored at required storage condition.

  •  Arrangements of Raw material and Packing material in stores according to the status i.e Under test Approved, Rejected and Quarantine etc.

  • Dispensing and issue.
